Android Go was released globally a few months ago and Samsung had already released their first Android Go smartphone, Samsung Galaxy J2 Core this summer and now, Samsung has already released its second Android Go smartphone, the Galaxy J4 Core.

Samsung Galaxy J4 Core comes with Android 8.1 Oreo pre-installed and not Android 9 Pie which is only available on Pixel devices at the moment. Samsung Galaxy J4 core is a slightly better version of its predecessor but not on the level of market standards.

Other specs include; a 6-inch 720 X 1480 display, 1 GB of RAM (which is very low as compared to the market standard but the whole point of Android Go is that it works well on less-powerful devices)powered by 1.4 GHz Quad-Core processor and 16 GB of storage with a huge battery of 3,300 mAh.

The cameras are similar to J2 Core and are a rear 8-MP camera and a 5-MP selfie camera.

As for the pricing or availability of smartphone goes, there is no word on that yet but given that the phone is already listed on Samsung’s official website, the rest of information will soon be out.

The Galaxy J4 lacks a lot of features that are found in most of the smartphones in the market so, it might not be very eye-catching for most of the users due to its features but considering the fact that it is an Android Go smartphone, it may still run smoothly on the features it houses.
